So the idea for this cinemagraph came from the sad reality of the real estate market in Vancouver. I grew up here and I don’t ever want to live anywhere else. I want to start a family and raise my children here in Vancouver, where my family roots are. But it seems that might not be possible as the prices of homes are too high, more and more of us are being forced out to make room for those who have the finances.
In this piece it shows my dream and love of Vancouver, I would build my foundation upon unstable rocks if I could. Can any of the new buyers say the same? Are their hearts going to add to this great city, enrich our communities?
